Our mission is to provide a comfortable and supportive transition into parenthood.

Our primary aim is to provide mothers with a shared experience during the Fourth Trimester, a time that can be isolating and anxiety-inducing. We believe that through cultivating connections and access to reliable education and essential services, parents can feel better prepared and supported during this critical time.

  • Kacee is owner of citizen yoga. Her life’s work is dedicated to improving mental health and preventing suicide through community building and the practices of yoga, pranayama, and personal development. 2 years ago, she was approached with the concept of Fourth Tri and realized that this was the next branch of her overarching mission.

Though fourth trimester education and community for parents often feels like an impossibility, with determination and consistency, Kacee believes that we can shift the standard of support and care across our country for new birth parents and partners. These efforts would drastically improve the mental health of new parents. The intent of fourth tri is for parents to experience a new kind of society existing to support their journey as a family. Kacee also knows that this type of care is not accessible to most, as a part of this project, she is working to create a non-profit to support under and uninsured parents, get coverage from employers, and eventually, make this a standard of care for insurance carriers.

Mothers not methods

We believe that motherhood is an individual journey and that there is no one-size-fits-all method to parenting. Rather, it is our shared love for our children and the overarching need for community that guides our navigation of motherhood.

Working towards making postpartum care accessible to all.

We are constantly striving to improve our infrastructure to meet the needs of as many people as possible. We understand the importance of inclusivity and have made a conscious effort to plan accordingly, ensuring our services cater to a wide range of families within our community.

Fourth Tri Foundation is a non-profit fund dedicated to bringing essential postpartum support, education, and community to families who do not have the resources or insurance coverage to meet these needs otherwise. Fourth Tri Foundation offers full spectrum assistance from prenatal education and movement classes to infant mental health and any other support related to hormone health and education. We will distribute funds to cover education and support services related to any topics that fall under the health and well-being of families.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress, as we work towards our goal of creating a more equitable and accessible environment for all.
